CK was retained by Mammoth Equities to prepare onsite and offsite civil engineering design plans for the Mammoth Professional Building on the Chandler 1 site in Chandler, Arizona.

The project scope included paving, grading and drainage, and wet utility design as required by the City of Chandler. Wet utility designs were prepared to address the private water and sewer services to the new office building. An Erosion Control design was also prepared for compliance with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements.

Onsite drainage evaluations were conducted and storm water management scenarios were reviewed in coordination with the Project Landscape Architects to address offsite drainage improvement requirements. Extensive utility coordination with Salt River Project (SRP) for undergrounding and existing irrigation channel along the project frontage on Willis Road was very critical. CK arranged for potholing in the proximity of SRP drainage pipe to avoid conflict between any proposed utility connection and the SRP pipeline. CK also obtained licenses for utilities crossing SRP irrigation pipeline location, including traffic signal conduits across Willis Road.
