SR 303L | HAPPY VALLEY ROAD

This project upgraded approximately 5.1 miles of the SR 303L Freeway from a 4-lane divided highway to a 6-lane access-controlled freeway and was completed as a Design Build contract. As a member of the Design Build team selected to complete the project, CK was responsible for drainage design, roadway lighting design, ITS design, and utility coordination. The ultimate design included provisions to widen the facility to ten lanes with four general purpose lanes and an HOV lane in each direction. The design intent was to provide for the ultimate 4+1 design with minimal throw-away work.
